Project Manager – Software Products DevelopmentLocation: Waltham, MAContract Duration: 6+ Month Contract to Hire Description:

• Responsible for the coordination and completion of projects.
• Oversees all aspects of projects.
• Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project.
• Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project.
• May require a bachelors degree and 7-10 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
• Familiar with a variety of the fields concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Performs a variety of tasks.
• Leads and directs the work of others.
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

 Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree
• Strong communication skills
• Software Development Methodologies /Lifecycle
• Experience with both Waterfall and Agile Scrum.
• Scrum Certification is not required.
• Understands software development life cycle in a SaaS environment, including project management through different environments (Dev, QA, Staging, Prod, DR)
• Leadership skills:
• Leads with strong collaboration skills but also comfortable being directive/forceful when needed.
• Software Company Project Management Experience (not just implementations, IT or internal development)

 Accountability:

• Ownership - a sense of urgency .
• Strong follow-up; command skills ; timely decision making; priority setting
• Knowledge of relevant project management software tools (ie: MS Office, MS Project, TFS, etc.)
