In this role, you will be supporting Genzyme, an organization committed to discovering and delivering transformative therapies for patients with rare and special unmet medical needs, providing hope where there was none before.Clinical Field Sales Specialist Neurology The primary objective of the Clinical Field Sales Specialist is to meet established goals by expanding awareness and treatment options of a Rare Genetic Disease to Neurologists. The Clinical Field Sales Specialist will be supported in this initiative with tools and educational resources designed to have local impact. The successful representative will partner with the customers Sales Associates, demonstrate the ability to engage Physicians in related disease discussions and manage their territory strategically while operating within an assigned budget. They will also need to be a highly engaged, positive team player and show a high degree of customer focus. Job Requirements

Qualifications/Experience
  • Four-year college degree required
  • Sales professionals to have at least 2 years of proven successful pharmaceutical, biotech or healthcare sales and/or related experience in Neurology and/or Neuromuscular disease markets; required
  • Established relationships with Neurologists within the outlined territory
  • Working in a complex selling environment (i.e. Hospital, a plus but not required).
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and apply technical and scientific product-related information
  • Demonstrated ability to manage territory budget
  • Consistent track record of quantifiable/documented sales accomplishments
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, analyze and act upon data within an assigned geography
  • Solid business acumen including excellent and persuasive business communication
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and exercise good business judgment and discretion and to analyze and address territory opportunities and build key customer relationships
  • Computer Skills: proficiency in business software (MS Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Candidate must live within Territory boundaries
