Medical Payment Poster Specialist at Three Rivers

Classification: Accounting - Medical

Compensation: $13.00 to $15.00 per hour

A Palmer area healthcare facility is looking to bring on a Medical Payment Poster to join their growing team! This position starts immediately and reports to the Billing Supervisor. The duties for this Medical Payment Poster will include posting payments for both private payees and insurance. The payments come from Finance via email and you will post to the appropriate accounts. Attention to detail and speed is a must and experience with Electronic Funds Transfer is a plus, but not necessary. Applicant must be able to quickly and accurately post all payment types to the billing system to ensure accurate and timely reporting of receivables. Additionally, applicants will apply payments to appropriate accounts for patient and group health (cash and credit card) accounts, identify and flag short pays, researches unidentifiable payments.If you have 1+ years of experience and are interested in this position, apply online at accountemps.com or call us at 413.734.7752.
