Job Description
Responsibilities: This position is responsible for performing various HR and payroll-related functions and processes including supporting the cross-functional administration of Workday HRIS; assisting managers, employees, and HR colleagues with questions and processes in Workday; acting as primary Administrators of Workday Timekeeper and Absence Management; and maintaining employee records including personnel files and payroll periodic, quarterly, and year-end files and data.This role will also be an integral part of the team responding to all inquiries received through the general HR phone line and mailbox and provide back-up to other HR Service Center Associates.Main Accountabilities:- Process payroll on the associated platforms including U.S. (ADP Workforce Now / Pay eXpert), Lethbridge, CA (ADP STREAMLINE), and Waterford, IRE (ADP STREAMLINE)
- Should have an understanding of processes; compliance; and jurisdictional provisions for each of these entities with support of the payroll vendor (ADP)
- Initiate and manage all periodic payroll wire transmissions and post payroll reporting
- Support administration of periodic; quarterly and annual payroll reporting, tax filings, and processing with the support of the payroll vendor (ADP)
- Provide administration and support and facilitate the entry of data into the Workday HRIS Platform as needed
- Provide a broad range of customer service consulting to employees and managers pertaining to policies, procedures, benefits and payroll via phone, email, and in person to include topics and functions which may include: paid time-off policies; payroll; Workday Timekeeper and Absence Management submission; report distribution; and other miscellaneous topics as needed
- Provide assistance and guidance to HR colleagues
Job Requirements
Qualifications:- 3-5 years of functional experience in Payroll, with Human Resources experience highly desirable.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience with a Bachelors Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience being desired
- Working knowledge of Workday HRIS, Timekeeper and Absence Management, ADP Payroll products (Workforce Now / Pay eXpert being preferred) and general payroll, HR, and customer service best practices
