Quality Assurance Specialist at Haverhill

Job Description



Support the development, maintenance and improvement of quality systems at the SAFC Hitech Haverhill site and ensure their alignment with electronic materials business goals, premier electronic materials customer expectations/requirements and global business unit best practices. Systems falling within the scope include employee training, audit functions (internal, external, ISO certification and vendor), calibration, process change notification (PCN), corrective and preventive action (CAPA), document control and management of change (MOC).

1.Maintain ISO-9001 quality systems and certification2.Administer the employee training program.Maintain current training recordsTrack and report on training status and effectiveness3.Administer the audit program for internal, external, ISO certification and vendor auditsDevelop the annual audit scheduleCoordinate audit activitiesRepresent the company during customer and ISO certification auditsIssue audit reportsDocument and track corrective action activitiesMeasure and report audit program effectiveness4.Administer the calibration programMonitor calibration statusIssue calibration work requestsMaintain calibration records5.Administer and coordinate quality related corrective and preventive action activitiesDocument and track CAPA activitiesMeasure and report CAPA activities and program effectiveness6.Administer and coordinate process change notification, document control and management of change activities for the site.Measure and report system activity and effectiveness7.Provide quality awareness training for site employees8.Provide SPC/SQC support to operations through control chart generation and monitoring9.Write and/or review documentation to ensure compliance to all company or customer quality requirements. 10.Perform other duties as assigned to support the advancement of quality systems and operations at SAFC Hitech and meet the quality expectations of our electronic materials customer base.

Job Requirements

Education:Essential: BS/BA Degree in a scientific field of study (preferably Chemistry) or Quality AssuranceExperience/key achievements: (refer to level of experience rather than years of experience, e.g. minimal/some/extensive/thorough; could include any key achievements specific to the success of the role.]Extensive:Knowledge and experience of ISO quality management systemsKnowledge and experience in the application of SPC/SQC techniquesSkills/Knowledge: (essential/critical refer to an absolute requirement for those skills, with critical being the most important))Critical: Good team playerEnthusiastic and flexibleAgent for change and improvementGood problem solving skillsDesirable:Experience of measuring processes and systems to Semi Conductor quality standardsExperience using fundamental tools such as FMEA to evaluate processesExperience in the manufacture of materials (preferably chemicals) for supply to the Semi Conductor industry
