The Support Consultant in the Major Account Client Service Group will be responsible for providing an unparalleled level of support to Interactive Data’s major accounts. Reporting to an Account Lead, the Support Consultant will be assigned to specific clients and be responsible for all day-to-day support of these clients. They will need to work closely with other Support Consultants to ensure support levels are maintained at the highest possible level. This Support Consultant will be motivated and determined while possessing the necessary customer service skills in order to achieve maximum customer satisfaction Responsibilities include:  ·  Consistently address and respond to all client inquiries professionally and with timely follow-up and be available for 24 hour support; ·  Champion client enhancement requests with internal departments·  Detect and report both client and internal trends while following through to ensure these trends are used advantageously ·  Provide a variety of management reports to help support clients and internal departments.·  Meet with assigned clients on regular basis (with Account Manager and Senior Relationship Manager);·  Work flexible shifts between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm to ensure appropriate coverage

Job Requirements

Required Experience:
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Demonstrable knowledge of the financial services industry/securities etc.
  • Strong listening, verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional time management and prioritization skills
  • Successful track record with clients
  • Knowledge of internal escalation procedures
  • Excellent business judgment skills
  • Thorough problem solving and analytical skills
  • Tremendous work ethic and a positive attitude
  • BA or BS degree (or equivalent) required.
