A communications professional with demonstrated experience executing large-scale employee engagement programs at a leading global company. Strategic thinker who is versatile in conceptualizing and executing high-impact communications programs to include everything from identifying/conceptualizing new programs, working with internal partners and external agencies, developing content and executing creatively, to managing project and communications plans.
Working with the Marketing Communications team, this role will partner with other groups including Brand Management and Human Resources to ensure that brand and culture related programs including training, communication, engagement, and other innovative employee programs are designed to achieve the companys, strategic and cultural objectives and executing smoothly.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify existing inventory of internal communications tools
  • Leverage opportunities to maximize internal channels, ranging from intranet to building signage
  • Write communications designed to explain SSgAs growth and transformation efforts
  • Support SSgAs senior management in HR, Strategy and Infrastructure with ad hoc projects as required, including new employee engagement programs to ensure distribution and penetration of key messages
  • Serve as project manager for high impact engagement platform that will touch over 2,200 SSgA employees globally, building a calendar and implementing the priority ideas in a phased approach
  • Serve as point of contact for regional offices to understand regional nuances and cascade locally
  • Develop and manage the rollout of a new brand platform, partnering with the Global Brand Management team to equip employees with toolkits and resources to understand the brand story and messaging
  • Generate program communications, manage content and update dynamic employee engagement website
  • Contribute to development of employee engagement metrics, and ensure all activities are tracked and measured on-going

Job Requirements

  • 5-10 years of experience in marketing, communications, employee engagement or , branding,
    General understanding of financial services industry Self-starter who delights in initiating
  • Detail-oriented, responsible, collaborative and comfortable with change
  • Ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Ability to write organizational announcements and client communications
  • Strong project management skills with experience organizing and executing large-scale programs
  • Strong interpersonal skills; able to work with individuals of all professional levels
  • Experience creating toolkits and building out resources to train and equip employee committees
  • Familiarity with large corporate environments and approval processes
  • Ability to navigate international sensibilities and work with internal partners to adapt to local norms

Agency experience a plus
