Accounts Payable/Payroll/Benefits Coordinator - Brookline and Newton! at Brookline

THIS POSITION IS SPLIT BETWEEN OUR BROOKLINE AND NEWTON FACILITIES!

The Accounts Payable/Payroll/Benefits Coordinator is responsible for the day to day coordination and oversight of all aspects of benefits, payroll administration, and accounts payable.

Reporting to:

  • Administrator of the facility where providing services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Processing weekly payroll for entire Center.
  • Accounts payable.
  • Orientation of new hires to the benefits and payroll options and processes.
  • Benefits Administration for entire Center including facilitating open enrollment.
  • Maintain employee files, documentation, and tax information.
  • Process CORI checks and CNA Registry.
  • Responsible for problem resolution of employee payroll, benefits, and general human resources issues.
  • Processing of employee identification badges.
  • Track applicants.
  • Serve as an FMLA and Workers Compensation Coordinator.
  • Ensure hiring/discharge procedures are in compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Delegate the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability to other responsible department personnel as necessary.
  • Represent the facility at and participate in top level meetings as directed.
  • Keep department directors informed of changes in personnel matters.

Education:

  • Associates Degree preferred – or equivalent job experience. 

Professional Experience:

  • Experience in a healthcare setting. (Highly Preferred)
  • Familiarity with administering payroll and benefits, and applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Accounts Payable experience, preferably in a long term care environment preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills – meticulous attention to detail.
  • High level of professionalism with sensitive and confidential employee issues.
