THIS POSITION IS SPLIT BETWEEN OUR BROOKLINE AND NEWTON FACILITIES!
The Accounts Payable/Payroll/Benefits Coordinator is responsible for the day to day coordination and oversight of all aspects of benefits, payroll administration, and accounts payable.
Reporting to:
- Administrator of the facility where providing services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Processing weekly payroll for entire Center.
- Accounts payable.
- Orientation of new hires to the benefits and payroll options and processes.
- Benefits Administration for entire Center including facilitating open enrollment.
- Maintain employee files, documentation, and tax information.
- Process CORI checks and CNA Registry.
- Responsible for problem resolution of employee payroll, benefits, and general human resources issues.
- Processing of employee identification badges.
- Track applicants.
- Serve as an FMLA and Workers Compensation Coordinator.
- Ensure hiring/discharge procedures are in compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Delegate the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability to other responsible department personnel as necessary.
- Represent the facility at and participate in top level meetings as directed.
- Keep department directors informed of changes in personnel matters.
Education:
- Associates Degree preferred – or equivalent job experience.
Professional Experience:
- Experience in a healthcare setting. (Highly Preferred)
- Familiarity with administering payroll and benefits, and applicable state and federal regulations.
- Accounts Payable experience, preferably in a long term care environment preferred.
- Strong organizational skills – meticulous attention to detail.
- High level of professionalism with sensitive and confidential employee issues.
