Implementation Project Analyst I
Responsibilities:
- For low-medium complexity projects:
- Plans, coordinates and monitors the implementation of IT equipment, low voltage wiring, telephone systems, point of sale devices, sound systems, in store network in all domestic stores.
- Identifies resource requirements (including software, hardware, 3rd party vendors and internal departments) of projects, based on specifications and makes recommendations to management.
- Maintains and distributes project schedule to include preliminary construction updates, pre-wire tasks, equipment staging, materials procurement, and installation tasks.
- Leads project meetings and prepares meeting minutes and presentations.
- Reviews budgets, purchase order requests, change order reviews and final billing reviews.
- Tracks project success metrics. Ensures project meets internal and client expectations with respect to quality, budget, delivery time lines, and strategy. Escalates risks when necessary to ensure minimal impact to quality, budget, and time line. Maintains project documentation and file all project documents (hard and soft copies.)
- Maintains relationships with all internal and external partners, sub-contractors, and stakeholders. Conducts weekly reviews with vendors on project status. Assists in evaluation of potential vendor problems, referring them to the manager.
- Travels to specific site locations to perform quality control audits and grand opening support as they relate to systems.
- Develops and maintains an understanding of equipment and technology platforms, drawings and specifications, materials, and required standards.
- Performs other duties as required.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 years of progressively responsible experience in Project Coordination of low-to-medium complexity projects.
- Strong ability to maintain effective relationships.
- Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple priorities, detailed work, reasoning, and deadlines.
- Must be flexible, analytical, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills (tact, diplomacy, influence etc.)
- Demonstrated ability to work in a small team setting.
- Knowledge of project planning and management procedures, practices, and techniques.
- Ability to operate a personal computer and utilizing Microsoft software including advanced knowledge of MSFT Excel.
- Ability to use on-line training modules to gain proficiency in new applications.
- Basic working knowledge of installation and configuration of setup and implementation of servers, Point of Sale (POS), telephone, sound systems, in store network and low voltage wiring.
- High school degree. Bachelors Degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
