Job Description

Were interviewing now for year-round and seasonal part-time positions in our Natick store.

Our part-time positions are great for those who enjoy being active and want to work around school, family or work schedules. Early morning availability one or two days per week is a plus. We offer year-round positions as well as seasonal positions for our busiest season of the year, our Gift Wrap Wonderland and our Annual elfa Sale, which ends February 2014.

The Container Store’s core competency is delivering astonishing customer service.  We are seeking people who are passionate about selling and thrive in a team work environment.  All  employees receive a tremendous amount of on-going training including selling skills, product training, inventory, marketing and visual merchandising.

Our  employees are also involved in Visual Sales.  These shifts help throughout the day with inventory, signage, props, samples, cleaning and every merchandising detail that sets The Container Store apart from other retailers. 

Our Merchandise Processing teams work in two different shifts, late nights and early mornings, working to create an organized and orderly environment through perfect product presentation. The late night team works 9:00 pm to midnight, unloading our replenishment truck and placing product on the floor down the store aisles.  Our early morning merchandising team follows the next morning, from 5:00 am to 10:00 am, merchandising the product on the shelves, creating a well presented, fully stocked, neat and organized store.

Job Requirements

We generally schedule "blended shifts," for example, an early morning merchandising starting shift may transition into a daytime sales or visual maintenance shift.  Or a 6:00 pm selling shift could include a late night truck processing, one or two days per week.

Part-time positions generally consist of two to three shifts per week.  Additional sales, visual or register shifts scheduled based on availability and when business needs require, daytime, evenings and weekends.
