Diesel Mechanic - Truck & Heavy Equipment at Nantucket

Job Description

This is a premium opportunity for a Diesel Technician with expertise in both Tractor Trailers and Earth Moving equipment. We are currently searching for a Heavy Duty Mechanic that can work independently to diagnose and repair both Over the Road equipment such as Commercial Trucks, Waste Trucks and Straight Trucks as well as Loaders, Graders and Dozers. Diagnosing external diesel components such as fuel rails, injectors and electronics as well as hydraulic, electrical and mechanical systems is a must. Mechanics with 5 to 10 years of experience will be considered for this Lead Tech role.

Compensation: $30.00 - $35.00/hour. Wage will be based on experience. Benefits include company sponsored medical & dental after 3 months (company pays 50% of premium). Profit sharing after 1 year anniversary.

Shift: Days, Monday to Friday. Some flexibility will be required during peak seasons and busier times.
