District Sales Manager at Quincy

Job Description

We are currently seeking a District Sales Manager to join our growing Sales team. This individual will oversee an experienced team of Sales Professionals within an assigned region. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Oversee the daily operations of 6-10 retail showrooms; including sales improvement programs, training/development of sales staff, open order management, cash management of daily deposits, audits, inventory control, merchandising and the visual presentation of showrooms.
• Demonstrate sales leadership by playing an active role on the selling floor, while driving sales and profit performance through recruiting, managing, developing and retaining a quality staff that is customer focused.
• Create and execute plans to improve showroom performance.
• Monitor all activities of the competitors in the area and report all new stores, change of stores, special advertising, etc. to Senior Management.
• Conduct regularly scheduled showroom visits according to established company guidelines to ensure quality, consistency, and compliance with company policies, procedures and standards. Evaluate Sales Professionals and provide on-going training to employees whose sales skills and techniques require improvement.
• Assist with the set-up and opening of new showrooms.
• Additional sales and operational responsibilities as assigned by Management.

Job Requirements

• Retail management experience in a commissioned sales environment, multi-unit management experience preferred
• Must have excellent leadership skills, as well as strong sales skills and closing ability
• Must have a proven track record of sales growth and results
