Quality Engineer (CB-3832) at Marlborough

Job Description

• Will be responsible for developing, validating, and troubleshooting the design and manufacturing changes associated with class II/III medical devices.
• Will document CAPA’s and work with engineering group to identify corrective and preventive actions resulting from product evaluation activities.
• The candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting quality issues and developing processes plans to address issues.
• Provide sustaining QA engineering support to the existing manufacturing line when needed.
• Must be able to work with vendors, suppliers, and engineering to define processes and technical solutions to support current designs and improve quality. 
• Provide technical support in creating progressive solutions with electrical systems.
• Must be able and willing to work in a fast paced environment.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with the company’s quality system.
• Create, edit, and maintain documentation related to design controls and quality system guidelines.
• Leads complaint investigations by performing risk analysis & determining root cause of non-conforming product.

Job Requirements

• BSEE and 5+ years quality engineering experience.
• 2+ years experience working in the medical device industry.
• Experience with CAPA, SPC, FMEA, FTA.
• Experience with troubleshooting electrical systems.
• Knowledge with continuous improvement methods including: DFM and SPC.
• Must have experience writing validation plans and validation reports.
• Experience with Minitab a plus.
