Electrical Designer Job

Immediate need for a Jr. Electrical Designer located north of Boston, Massachusetts. Candidate will have expertise using AutoCAD MEP and REVIT as a design tool and have experience with elecrtical lighting. The right person will produce electrical lighting and fire alarm based drawings. Responsibilities

• Produce electrical drawings using AutoCAD MEP and REVIT
• Setup and update AutoCAD files received from clients
• Produce graphs, charts, overlays, isometric and perspective drawings
• Insert blocks, schedules and details from specification sheets or directly from within the CAD platforms
• Perform field surveys

Requirements

• Degree preferred with 2 years experience with electrical design
• Proficient in use of AutoCAD MEP and Revit
• Must have thorough understanding of the engineering principles in the electrical discipline
• Prior electrical design experience in the architectural/consulting engineering industry required.
