Manager of Financial Accounting & Reporting at Boston

Our client is seeking a Manager of Financial Accounting & Reporting in Boston, Massachusetts (MA).

Assuming this role, the selected candidate will have the following responsibilities:

• Lead the financial reporting function, including general and regulatory reporting as required, managing the internal and external review of these documents


• Assist in the analysis of monthly and quarterly


• Partner with the accounting and finance department to create a high performance team capable of meeting the companys current and future financial and accounting goals


• Supervise one Staff

The following skills, knowledge and experience are required for this position unless noted otherwise:

• A Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance


• A minimum 4 to 8 years of experience in Accounting and Analysis or Big 4 experience


• Proven self-starter that sets aggressive goals and meets them


• Demonstrated ability to think strategically and successfully execute tactics


• Exceptional communications skills; written and verbal are required


• Demonstrated ability to identify organizational opportunities and to effectively implement innovative applications of new ideas
