Job Description

Responsibilities: Our client is seeking a Web User Experience Architect for their Burlington, Massachusetts (MA) location.Join this highly regarded non-profit research firm in the key role of creating and integrating intranet applications and designing external partner facing experiences. Your work will include user-centered design, information architecture, interaction design, and front-end web technologies, all while working in a highly collaborative work environment.Responsibilities:

• Create intranet applications, solutions, and web sites
• Gather requirements for enterprise applications
• Collaborate to define the vision and requirements
• Conduct user research
• Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes;
• Design and communicate solutions

Job Requirements

Web User Experience Architect Qualifications (required unless noted otherwise):

• BS degree required along with strong experience in designing information architectures for complex systems for both corporate intranets and web sites
• MA/MS preferred, with multidisciplinary backgrounds such as Psychology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Human Factors, User Interface Design
• Experience with UX best practices, usability principles, requirements development, and data analysis
• Agile and mobile design experience a plus
• Portfolio required
• In-depth knowledge of Web 2.0 technologies such as CSS, HTML, XHTML, and JavaScript
• Proficiency in use of design tools such as Visio, Balsamiq, Photoshop and SharePoint
