Overall Responsibilities:
Key member of consulting team supporting public clients across the country. This person will be responsible for developing programmatic knowledge in health and human services; preparing complicated financial spreadsheets and using database software tools; conducting cost analyses; maintaining contact with clients; supervising staff on project components; understanding complex federal regulations; and sales and marketing efforts. Must be willing to be part of dynamic team and willing to work on both projects and project management efforts.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Lead efforts to write and prepare cost allocation plans on behalf of PCG clients.
- Lead efforts to prepare and negotiate indirect cost rates.
- Lead and support proposal development related to cost allocation plans, indirect cost rates, and related projects.
- Assist with conducting training seminars on related topics and securing new business in this area.
- Collaborate on other PCG projects as necessary.
Desired Skills:
- Familiar with OMB Circular A-87, Medicare and Medicaid Cost Principles, and/or cost allocation methodologies used by government agencies and/or health facilities, or related private sector experience.
- Knowledge of the Federal Medicaid program and other health and human services programs, including Medicaid, Food Stamps, Title IV-E, Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF), and/or Workforce Development.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Access programs.
- Accounting experience or background.
- Strong public speaking and presentation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Sales experience.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
Required Experience:
- BA Degree, Masters preferred in Business, Public Administration, Public Health, or related field.
- 10+ years professional experience.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and clients.
- Overtime and Travel (approximately 30-50%) are required.
- Person should be based in Boston-area or Raleigh, NC; will entertain other locations on a case by case basis.
