Compensation: $103,500.99 to $126,500.99 per year

JobTitle User Experience Architect (UI / UX) Job Highlights Seeking a talented user experience architect eager to take on a range of challenges from creating and integrating intranet applications to designing external partner facing experiences. In this position you will be able to demonstrate your expertise in user-centered design, information architecture, interaction design, and front-end web technologies, all while working in a highly collaborative work environment. Key Functions Provide user experience and information architecture expertise to create efficient and enjoyable intranet applications, solutions, and web sites Gather requirements and document business needs for enterprise applications Collaborate with product managers and project teams to define the vision and requirements for a product or domain area Conduct user research; collect, analyze, and summarize data; leverage results of data analysis to inform design decisions Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes; work with graphic designers to define and apply enterprise brand Design and communicate solutions with customers & stakeholders: products may include use cases, site maps, metrics analysis, wireframes, navigation standards, content inventories, functional specifications and flow diagrams Location MA: Bedford Campus Preferred Qualifications Minimum 2 years current, demonstrable experience in designing information architectures for complex systems. Some experience designing for corporate intranets is preferred. MA/MS preferred, with multidisciplinary backgrounds such as Psychology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Human Factors, User Interface Design, or equivalent experience in related disciplines. Solid understanding of systems/software engineering practices, UX best practices, usability principles, requirements development, and data analysis. Agile and mobile design experience a plus. Design experience; portfolio required. In-depth knowledge of Web 2.0 technologies such as CSS, HTML, XHTML, and JavaScript. Proficiency in use of design tools such as Visio, Balsamiq, and Photoshop. Experience with SharePoint strongly desired. Business process analysis skills, including ability to analyze work processes and recommend changes to leverage technologies and gain efficiency Solid project management skills as it relates to web design Excellent visual, verbal, and written communication and presentation skills Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines, prioritize, and work on multiple projects simultaneously with great efficiency and attention to detail Minimum Education/ Experience BS and 2 yearof current, demonstrable experience
