Position DescriptionMcGladrey is actively looking for an outside account executive familiar with selling technology services and solutions (IT Assessments, IT Outsourcing, and Infrastructure Solutions) to the middle market. The focus of this position will be related to McGladreys outsourced service offerings, such as IT Outsourcing and Business Process Outsourcing, in addition to identifying broader opportunities for McGladreys Technology Consulting practice.
Job Duties
- Generate referrals for new business opportunities within the New England market.
- Penetrate organizations at the strategic decision maker level.
- Interact with senior management and end-users.
- Build and maintain strong sales pipelines and forecasts.
- Prepare and facilitate presentations, proposals and ROI for prospective customers.
- Close sales, and finalize agreements with customers.
Job Requirements
- 3 - 7 yrs selling experience to small and mid-market clients
- Specialization in solution selling for the technology industry.
- Solution Selling experience: Familiarity with the art of consultative selling and negotiating techniques.
- Must be familiar with long sales cycles (3-6 months or plus)
- Must have direct sales experience (not channel sales).
- Minimum of 3 years experience in selling technology solutions
- Must have sold any of: IT Outsourcing, Managed Services, and Infrastructure Solutions such as Microsoft, VMware, Dell, Citrix, and Cisco
- Understanding of systems/network integration a plus
- Experience with ERP and other business applications is a benefit, although not a requirement.
- Highly adaptable work style; will be amenable to operating under stated guidelines and standards;
- Must provide annual sales figures, quotas, and compensation history.
