Responsibilities: Our client is seeking a Manager / Supervisor of Tax & Audit in Needham, Massachusetts (MA).Job Description:This company, located in the metro west area, is an established, quality CPA firm with approximately two dozen professionals and has a picked up several additional clients. This necessitates the addition of a manager or supervisor.Responsibilities:

• Leading and planning accounting, audit and tax engagements
• Providing timely, high quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations
• Providing appropriate and timely performance feedback to those supervised
• Ensuring that all necessary financial statement and related disclosures and reportable conditions letters are prepared with an eye on quality, thoroughness and accuracy
• Developing an understanding of clients business
• Keeping lines of communication open with staff and clients
• Keeping abreast of latest developments as they affect GAAP and the Firms standards and policies
• Ensuring professional development through ongoing education and obtaining additional certifications as appropriate
• Anticipating and addressing client concerns and escalating problems as they arise
• Increasing level and types of services to clients
• Promoting new ideas and business solutions that result in extended services to existing clients
• Responsible for the planning and management of client engagements

Job Requirements

To be considered, candidates must have:

• 7 to 10 years of experience in CPA firm at a Supervisory or Management level
• Experience in the management and development of a team
• CPA certification
• A Bachelors degree in Accounting or closely related field
• Ability to work within budgetary and time constraints while providing a high-level of client satisfaction
