Network Security Engineer at Boston

Job Description

Network Security Engineer full time opening with an international financial services firm based in Boston. They are looking for a Network Engineer with a security background with firewalls.

 

Responsibilities include:

•  Implementing and supporting the network and security infrastructure including switches, firewalls, routers and security devices
• Upgrades and renewals of security devices and subscriptions
• DNS administering
• LAN/WAN support (multiple international locations)
• Assisting with IT department projects and network enhancements

 

Job Requirements

• Experience as a Sr. Network Engineer with a concentration of Security experience 
• Experience configuring and supporting Firewalls
• LAN/WAN administration with Juniper or Cisco experience preferred
• WAN optimization experience (Riverbed experience preferred)
• Experience with endpoint security products (Checkpoint, Bit9, etc)
• Ability to work independently as well as on a team
• Excellent network troubleshooting skills
• Must be organized and ability to handle multiple projects
• Cisco certifications preferred CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, etc. 
• College degree in Computer Science preferred
