Job Description:

We are seeking a talented Principal Java Software Engineer with the ability to create scalable applications for Partner facing applications.

The Principal Software Engineer will work together with Product Owners and Program Managers to develop the Companys Branded Store. This role is a critical part of the team that develops the platform infrastructure for Desktop and Mobile Platforms. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of the product development cycle from planning, design, implementation, test automation through to release.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree
• 8+ years of Core Java programming and open source technologies like Spring, Hibernate, JMS, XML processing (e.g. JAX-B, Xerces), and SOA/Web Services (REST)
• Experience architecting, developing, and maintaining highly available scalable systems
• A strong foundation in object-oriented concepts, design patterns, and algorithms
• Strong problem solving skills
• Ability to demonstrate strong leadership, mentoring, and collaboration skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work and participate in a multi-site environment with open and collaborative style of communications
• A Going beyond and Getting it done attitude
• Knowledge of SQL and core database concepts

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience working in Scrum/agile a plus
• Experience with advanced technologies (nosql, Hadoop, and cloud computing AWS) is a plus
• BS or higher degree in Computer Science or similar field is preferred
