Job Description

Responsibilities:

As a Sabot management consultant, you will produce business value to our clients by providing strategic business and technical analysis.  This job offers an opportunity to work with senior-level IT and business executives of leading companies to help them shape and steer their technology operations.  You will:

• Deliver expert-level advice in a combination of the following:

• IT Strategic Planning
• IT Executive Governance
• IT/Business Alignment
• Enterprise Architecture Planning
• Enterprise Project Portfolio Management
• System implementation planning
• Change management
• IT Operations Optimization (esp. cost reduction strategies)
• IT Operating Models and Organizational Structures

• Work as part of a specialized team independently providing analysis, planning, and guidance to technical staff, management, and IT executive leadership.
• Assist with organizational and technical readiness for system development, implementation and legacy replacement.
• Develop written reports, assessments, briefings and presentations.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelors or higher in a technical discipline

Training and certifications:  Desirable technical certifications include:  Project Management Professional, ITIL, Six Sigma, COBIT, CGEIT, or equivalent/related

10+ years IT Experience

4+years providing strategic consulting or serving as an IT Director, VP or CIO in large IT organizations (100+ IT staff)

Expert technical writing skills.

Expert facilitation and presentation skills.

IT best practices expert
Experience in retail is desired
Experience with change management, organizational development, and enterprise architecture a plus
Global IT operations planning experience is desired

Other duties include internal projects and assignments supporting the growth and continuous improvement of the firm.
