Position Description:

Southborough, MA- The Sales Analyst will be responsible for the collection, analysis, and reporting of sales related data in an on-going effort to increase overall sales productivity. He/She must collect sales records and evaluate performance based on sales quotas while taking into consideration current economic conditions. Theincumbent will create both standardized & custom reports, conduct quantitative solutions & sales analysis, provide support for internal promotions, and assess future needs and data integrity. He/She must develop standardized tools, methodologies and business processes aimed at improving operational efficiency. He/She will beresponsible for supporting the organizations business intelligence capabilities by acting as the central repository and clearinghouse for reporting and analysis, including but not limited to, external market research, industry trends, market share, sales data, master data, CRM data, quote data, and competitive intelligence. He/she will conduct extensive customer analysis, profiling and segmentation will be required to ensure maximum effectiveness of the business. He/Shewill work across key functional domains (Sales, Marketing, Finance and Customer Service) to develop, implement and operationalize targeting and segmentation capabilities that grow and streamline the business. Requirements and Responsibilities:

* Collect, analyze, evaluate, and report data in order to increase sales productivity.

* Collect sales records and trends and evaluate performance measured against sales quotas.

* Analyze sales and performance records, interpret results of overall sales, recommend promotion or changes in the sales force.

* Analyze line of business operations to determine profitability and to establish a baseline for action and operational changes.

* Align with business analysts, administrators and users of ERP-CRM-reporting tools to reflect sales structure in systems.

* Communicate sales reporting to Senior Management.

* Analyze results and set up reports containing respective conclusions, ideas, and general guidance.

* Generate ad hoc reporting for Sales, Marketing, Pricing, Business Planning, and service Management.

* Provide customized reporting and recommendations in support of ongoing business decisions or initiatives.

* Conduct quantitative analysis including but not limited to trending, identification and assessment of opportunity and risk, forecasting, regressions, correlation, cannibalization and probability modeling.

* Communicate results to key stakeholders in order to support informed business decisions by providing in-depth analysis and recommendations

* Analyze data from across internal and external sources, including sales history, install base, CRM, quotes, etc.

*Ensure current and future data and software requirements are met to provide accurate decision support to the business.

* Perform other related duties as assigned.

    Job Requirements

    (ONLY QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL BE CONSIDERED)

    * A Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or related discipline is required.

    * A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Reporting or Analysis (financial, marketing, operational, sales etc) is required.

    * Sales analysis experience is highly desirable.

    * Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.

    * Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, results-driven.

    * Must have the ability to travel domestically if projects require.

    * Ability to solve a problem and navigate in a complex and dynamic environment is necessary.

    * Must have the ability to interact with field personnel, management, and customers.

    * Must be a self-directed, creative individual, with the ability to multitask.
