Job Description

Raytheon Company is seeking intern candidates to work in the areas of Supplier Management, Supply Chain Operations, Supplier Quality, Subcontracts, Proposal Support, among others. Some of the potential projects and responsibilities include:

• Organizing inbound and outbound transfer of parts, tooling and packaging.
  
• Interfacing with suppliers, Raytheon employees and management.
  
• Managing inventory, developing tracking systems, establishing metrics, and responding to quality issues.

Qualifications:

Raytheon is looking for capable, self-confident individuals interested in a challenging and rewarding career opportunity. The ideal candidate must be a first-year MBA student with an emphasis in Operations, Supply Chain Management, or arelated field. Previous experience with manufacturing, assembly, engineering, and/or production is a plus. A basic understanding of Supply Chain Management is required. Strong computer skills with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) required. Candidate must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of management via email, telephone, and in-person. The position will be representing the Raytheon Company to the supplier community as well as representing the organization within the company.

Intern Requirements:

First-year MBA Student with a specialty in Operations, Supply Chain Management or related field

3.2 or above overall GPAfor Undergraduate and Graduate coursework (in a 4.0 scale)

Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance if required*

Desired Requirements:

Previous experience with manufacturing, assembly, engineering and/or production

3-5 years work experience
