ThePHARMA/LAB SALES REPRESENTATIVE position will be responsible for generating adoption and usage of our clients innovative genetic testing laboratory services.

The Personal Medicine Account Representative has call point ownership on all accounts within the assigned geography (there is no co-promotion arrangement).

This is an account sales position - sales representatives must promote to new customers, as well as "convert" customers who are currently using competing laboratory services. There is an open-ended commission plan - i.e., there is no upper limit to the commissions that can be earned.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Drives new customer accounts by promoting the Laboratory Service to office-based HCPs
  • Ensures ongoing customer retention by building and maintaining relationships with hospital and office based accounts
  • Executes the customer order process by providing on-going client education
  • Works collaboratively with internal operations unit (service, AP, etc.) to facilitate, prioritize and resolve customer inquiries
  • Manage customer relationships to ensure that customer needs are being met in a timely manner
  • Leverage all tools and resources available to drive sales (including data, CRM, target lists; Laboratory resources, and local resources as needed)
  • Ensures compliance with company polices and government regulations
  • Completes all administrative tasks thoroughly and promptly

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree required in Business, Life Sciences, or Healthcare (Nursing, Pharmacy, etc.)
  • Established relationships with PCPs, Cardiologists, Pain Specialists and/or Ob/Gyns in the local territory is a plus
  • Successful "account sales" experience (e.g. medical device, office equipment, etc.) a big plus
  • Experience in healthcare account sales is a plus
  • Experience in launching a new laboratory test is a plus
  • Strong work ethic and customer focus orientation
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Highly motivated, self-starting, and incredibly driven to succeed
