QA Tester - MA at Quincy

Job Summary / Description:
The candidate MUST have strong performance testing experience with strong analytical skills and experience with implementation and management of software performance, tuning, and software performance metrics. The candidate must have an understanding of and experience testing Web services in a SOA environment. Experience with performance testing tools is a must.

Required Skills:

-Minimum of 5 - 7 years of performance testing experience
- Have extensive performance testing skills
- Understanding and experience testing Web services, exposure to SOA systems
- Strong analytical skills and experience with implementation and management of software performance, tuning, and metrics to measure and improve the quality of the components and the final software product
- Excellent problem solving, interpersonal communication, presentation, and project management skills a must
- Working experience with HP LoadRunner and SoapUI Pro

Primary Responsibilities for Position:
- Design, implement, and execute a performance test program for a major application/system in a SOA environment
- Work closely with Developers, architects, and other performance test engineers to modify parameters, configurations, and tune the application system
- Work closely with the QA Program Lead as well as PMs, the product owner, and tech leads to modify goals and set up new measurements and metrics
- Communicate performance test results to upper program management as well as to HPHC stakeholders
