Training Specialist Senior at Cambridge

Training Specialist, Senior:

Responsible for designing and delivering GMP, technical and organizational development training, along with assisting functional areas with developing competency-based (OJT) training. This includes training in the areas of general and advanced knowledge of current regulations, functional job knowledge and skill development, compliance, and management development in a GMP environment.

Core Responsibilities
  • Design, development, sourcing, and delivery of general site and technical training program content, instructional tools, and hands on exercises, including computer-based training.
  • Provide train-the-trainer program and qualify all area trainers for content delivery.
  • In partnership with the functional area, develop training materials, and knowledge assessments, for area SOPs and coordinate knowledge assessment linking in Plateau with LMS Training Specialist.
  • Liaise with functional department to draft, implement, approve, and revise OJT assessment documents.
  • Assist area in development of training curricula and module content for assigned areas.
  • Partner with functional area to conduct ongoing needs analysis, training effectiveness checks, and trends results as appropriate.
  • Develop, maintain, trend and continuously improve site training program, including conducting effectiveness checks to ensure program applicability.
  • Work with Supervisors and Specialists to assure training curricula assessment and OJT review are conducted according to schedule.
  • Create and present trending and metrics reports on training
    Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree and 5 years experience.
  • Experience developing, delivering and assessing classroom, computer-based, and competency based functional training.
  • Working knowledge of MS Word and PowerPoint.
    Solid organizational and time management skills, proven project management, exceptional presentation and facilitation skills.
    Preferred:
  • Biotechnology experience preferred.
  • Innovation including looking internally and externally for best practices.
  • Prior experience in cGMP Manufacturing or Quality Operations.
    Working knowledge of LMS and Lectora or equivalent.
