The Manager, Tour de Cure will be responsible for the coordination and execution of the North Shore Tour de Cure, specifically all event logistics, working in conjunction with the Associate Director. The Manager will also be responsible for wrap around special events for the North Shore Tour de Cure including but not limited to the Executive Ride, Kickoff event, VIP Dinner/Champions Celebration and Committee Wrap Up event.
This position is based out of Framingham, Massachusetts office.

Specific responsibilities include
* Retention and recruitment of friends and family teams
* Cultivation of friends and family teams to achieve their maximum potential for fundraising, team building and understanding of diabetes and the ADA
* Provide customer service to all participants to assist with online fundraising or other questions throughout the campaign and post-event including distribution of thank you gifts and post-event fundraising minimum collection
* Monthly birthday cards to all $500+ riders, friends and family team captains, and red riders
* Management of day of event pre-registration for the following year and execution of online registration for all pre-registered riders
* Retention, recruitment and management of day of event volunteers including orientation and training
* Leadership of event logistics committee including recruitment of key committee members and succession plan for logistics committee leadership
* Management of all event logistics for day of and wrap around events
* Familiarity with analyzing financial reports and developing, monitoring and maintaining event budgets on a quarterly basis; responsible for the expenses and ensuring elements are on budget
* Supply management for all shared supplies and North Shore Tour supplies including inventory, quality assurance, and storage
* Recruit and manage all Tour de Cure interns for the North Shore event
* Creation and management of all North Shore Tour de Cure marketing materials including but not limited to local rider guide, save the date postcards, event brochures, wrap around event invitations, and promotional post cards
* Work with Associate Director on all strategic planning for Tour de Cure, post-event analysis and event evaluation



Job Requirements

*Bachelors degree or equal work experience
*1-2 years of non-profit fund raising experience, with a proven track record of success
* Demonstrated project management skills including prioritizing projects with multiple and often competing deadline; attention to detail is critical
* Knowledge of cycling/pledge special events a plus
* Customer relationship building is strongly recommended
* Ability to work independently in a team-based and goal-oriented environment
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
* Ability to lift 50 pounds (position requires moving, carrying and transporting event objects and materials)
* Ability to work occasional evenings/weekends
* Frequent local travel throughout the market is required
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (donor contact database knowledge a plus), excellent internet skills
