Senior Accountant - Up to 90K at Burlington

Classification: Accountant - Senior

Compensation: $80,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year

Our client, a publicly held Hi-Tech Company located in the Burlington area seeks a Senior Accountant due to a recent internal promotion. This is excellent opportunity and very visible role reporting directly to Financial Reporting Manager. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for supporting, initiating and reviewing all SEC filings (i.e. Forms 10-Q, 10-K, 8K etc.) The Senior Accountant will also assist in preparation of FAS123R schedules, accounting functions including report preparation, process improvements, account analysis, M&A work and purchase accounting and inter-company activities. The candidate should have a BS Degree, CPA or MBA preferred with 3+ years of corporate accounting experience. This is an excellent opportunity for someone transitioning out of Public Accounting with strong Audit experience and client base with publicly held companies. Job Requirements

MBA, CPA is preferred with 3+ years of related experience.Strong US GAAP and SEC financial reporting requirements.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Experience with SAP and/or Edgar filing software a plus
