Shipping Clerk Job at Billerica

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a Shipping Clerk to join our client in Billerica, MA.

Job Responsibilities: - Assist the shipping department in completing all daily responsibilities.- Ensure shipments are accurate and meet critical deadlines.- Ability to work with time restraints; understands the sense of urgency; ability to handle multiple tasks- Keeping work center clean and orderly.- Package shipments for ground, air, and ocean shipments.- Process Oracle transaction, "Ship Confirm".- Ensure all paperwork is correct, ex. Dangerous Goods Declaration, Export Declaration, Commercial Invoices.- Ensure adherence to D.O.T. / OSHA / other D.O.L. regulations, delivery performance, and other related duties.- Support internal customer in driving to on time demand.

Job Qualifications: - H.S Diploma or equivalent- Proficiency with Microsoft office programs or ability to learn.- Familiar with UPS, FEDEX, DHL computer systems- Familiar with Oracle 11i Shipping Applications- knowledge of exports- Ability to lift 20 lbs. frequently and 50 lbs. occasionally
