Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the Sales Representative - Builders Channel will be responsible for the implementation and success of sales and marketing strategies that produce desired volume and yield targeted profitability levels. Grow market share and retain and develop existing market base for the New England territory (Massachussetts, New York, northern New Jersey, Rhode Island, and Connecticut). The hired individual will focus on mid to large builders in the territory, and will work from their home office. Although we will consider candidates that live within the territory, ideal candidate locations are Boston and New York City.

Responsibilities:

Understand the customers needs, and then develop, in conjunction with Manager, sales and marketing strategies which deliver against those identified needs. Depth of customer knowledge is essential!

Drive internal team members performance that meets and exceeds customer expectation.

Develop accurate and reliable forecast.

Cultivate consultative relationships with key decision makers and influencers.

Proactively identify opportunity or situations that require accelerated intervention or mitigation.

Maintain current pricing and documentation pertinent to assigned accounts.

Job Requirements

Prefer some college coursework, with a Bachelors degree desirable.

Minimum of 2 years sales and relationship building experience.

Builder sales experience essential. Cabinet sales experience strongly preferred.

Existing builder relationships in the territory a strong plus.

Experience and proficiency with 20/20 program strongly preferred.

Track record of successful customer relationships and sales results essential.
