Individuals in this role will be part of our System Integration Consulting group, our Information Management Practice, and our Business Intelligence Specialty.

 

Systems Integration Consulting professionals are responsible for delivering large-scale, complex programs that marry processes with technology to help our clients achieve high performance.

 

Information Management professionals define, develop and deliver solutions that enable the collection, management and processing of information from one or more sources and delivery of information to audiences who have a stake in or right to that information.

 

Business Intelligence professionals will have skills and experience with particular Business Intelligence tools and methodologies, which are used when implementing solutions with our clients.

 

Job Description:

 

Information Management (IM) professionals are focused on collecting and analyzing internal and external data to generate knowledge and value for the organization, including business process decision support at the strategic, tactical and operational levels. 

 

The IM Practice seeks to empower organizations to leverage and transform data for achieving innovative results.  The Business Intelligence Consultant will have experience working with data warehouses and/or data marts and Business Intelligence concepts, tools and technologies. 

 

 

Responsibilities include the following:

·  Creating functional requirements as input to application design.

·  Developing and testing detailed functional designs for Business Intelligence solutions. 

·  Using technical expertise to ensure functional requirements are met.

·  Supervising application build, test, and deploy activities.

Job Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

 

Minimum 2 years’ experience with DataStage ETL tool

Minimum of a bachelors degree 

 

This position is responsible for designing and leading development of innovative BI/Data Warehousing solutions using DataStage as the ETL tool.  This includes leading a team of ETL development resources in producing the Technical Design and ETL code deliverables.  In addition, the resource will work with the client business stakeholders in the Analysis phases of the projects to collecting application and technical requirements and ensuring that the requirements tie back to the established requirements and project goals.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS:

 

Experience architecting and technically designing Informatica solutions, data warehousing, requirements collection and management, telecom and data design. 

 

Preferred Skills:

 

• Experience in requirements gathering and data analysis

• Full life cycle Development

• Industry experience (financial services, resources, healthcare, government, products, communications, high tech)

• Experience leading teams

• ETL Tools (Informatica, IBM DataStage, Ab Initio (EME), INFA, Oracle Warehouse Builder)
