Inspection/Packaging Associate at Burlington

Job Description

SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS

This position will involve training and work in every aspect of the Finish Operations Area including: Inspection, Labeling and Packaging of pharmaceutical products without supervision. Perform 100% visual inspection of products where attention to detail and ability to accurately identify defects is critical. Ability to follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Master Batch Records and adheres consistently to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).

Job Requirements

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
2. Responsible for maintaining training, and training documentation on applicable SOPs. May train team members on Inspection SOPs and batch records.

3. Responsible for accurate completion of logs, forms, batch records and other process and facility documentation in accordance with AMRI procedures and cGMP regulations.

4. Effectively organizes resources and self manages to execute plans and schedules.

5. Labeling and package assembly operations: set-up, clean-up

6. Ability to work in a fast paced work environment while maintaining attention to detail.
7. Identifies and documents defects and calculates defect rates against specified control limits.
8. Complies with all safety-related procedures and practices, personally and in inspection area.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Good math skills.

Unimpared manual dexterity.

Correctable 20/20 vision.
Passing score on all Visual Inspection Qualification Test Kits

Ability to lift up to 35lbs.

Read, write and follow written and verbal instructions/procedures in English.

Ability to work in a group setting.

Basic computer applications.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

High School Education or equivalent.

1-3 years of work experience.

Language/Communication Skills:

Competent written and verbal communication skills.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to calculate figures andenter data into yield database System.
