Senior Technical Writer

We are seeking a senior or principal technical writer with in-depth tools experience.You will be required to work on multiple projects at one time and work as a part of our geographically distributed team.

We use agile methodologies so experience with Scrum or Kanban is recommended.

You should have at least 10-15 years of experience writing for administrator, programmer, or release engineer audiences.

Experience with Adobe FrameMaker is a must, as is experience installing, configuring, and administering help system software such as WebWorks ePublisher, RoboHelp, or Madcap Flare.

Rudimentary batch scripting capability is a plus, as is the ability to work in both Windows and Linux environments. Experience using and documenting SCM (software configuration management), content management, or version control software such as IBM Rational Clearcase, CVS, Perforce, Subversion, or Git is highly desirable.

Bachelors degree in a technical field, or non-technical degree with several years of hands-on technical experience is required.
