Classification: Software Engineer

Compensation: $80,000.00 to $120,000.00 per year

We are looking for a highly motivated software engineer to join our software development team as a developer. The well rounded individual will help design and program web based business applications using ASP.net and C#. The candidate should be well versed in agile software development methodologies, possess excellent technical problem solving skills, programming and unit testing skills. The candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to work well within a team environment. In addition, the candidate will be expected to help shape technical documents with moderate to complex designs with minimal guidance and fully understand and utilize the appropriate tool set.You will be responsible for the following: Responsible for reading an existing code base in order to analyze its behavior and make fixes or enhancements to it Responsible for providing solutions to complex problems with technical documents Responsible for unit testing code Responsible for peer code reviews as well as vendor code reviews Responsible for effective communication and interaction with Project Teams Responsible for meeting project objectives on time Supporting existing production applications Ensuring that code meets Bain Capital coding specifications Responsible for reading an existing code

Job Requirements

Technical Skills: Understands how to analyze a code base as well as the fundamental constructs of object based programming. Understanding of Service Oriented Architecture Understanding of design patterns and Microsoft best practices Experience with ETL processing using SSIS Experience writing and tuning stored proceduresTehnical Platform Specialty: Microsoft C# ASP.NET, Java Script/CSS/XML BI Design Principles Microsoft SQl Server 2008 Microsoft SQL Server Report Services and Report Builder (SSRS) Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Server (SSAS) Microsoft SQL CLR Programming
