Regional Parts Manager - Northeast

Regional Parts Manager Purpose/Description: The Regional Parts Manager (RPM) implements sales and marketing programs to increase Volvo/Mack parts sales and profits for both the company and dealer customer throughout region of responsibility. This position manages sales within the region to the Volvo/Mack dealer network. This position also leads sales efforts to regional and national fleets, buying groups, and municipalities and insures an adequate margin both for the company and our Volvo/Mack dealer partner.The RPM provides leadership to the District Parts Managers (DPM) within region through direction, leadership cooperation and sales management. The RPM communicates the vision and direction of the Volvo/Mack organization to effectively facilitate the best efforts of the DPM. Additionally, the DPM works with both our Volvo/Mack dealer customer and other intercompany sales and marketing teams in a cooperative new truck, service and parts sales effort. The DPM sets goals and business objectives for the region, monitors efforts, coaches and measures the results of the District Parts Managers sales team. The DPM analyzes the needs of dealer and recommends products that fulfill the needs, pricing that captures the business and support that creates a long term relationship with our Volvo/Mack dealer partner. . Core Responsibilities:
Leader in achieving assigned sales goals of regional sales group
Implement the Pb4Parts Sales Process with regional sales group
Support dealer growth and profits by implementing business agreements with dealers and regional/national fleets
Provides information and support to dealer parts manager and principals that increases sales and margins
Drives Volvo/Mack ranking as best in class in dealer satisfaction within the industry
Lead efforts with the dealer principal and parts manager in driving sales and insuring the dealerships fleet potential is fully developed
Resolves dealer and fleet issues to best possible resolution.
Tracks sales, opportunities and prospects. Keeps all parties advised by submitting reports on time and in the proper manner

BS/BA or equivalent experience
7 years experience in heavy duty truck, automotive or related industry. At least 2 of the 7 years should be in the area of aftermarket products.
Previous sales management experience requiredOther Requirements
Ability to travel.
