Account Executive, Wind Energy
TÜV SÜD America Inc., a global leader in product safety, regulatory affairs and certification, has an immediate opening in Peabody, Massachusetts for an:
Account Executive, Wind Energy
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Developing certification services in wind energy industry for NAFTA Markets and clients;
- Developing and conducting of corporate business strategies in entering wind energy market for TÜV SÜD;
- Supports the Director in all aspects of wind energy related issues including technical, engineering and consulting;
- Experience in business development as well as attending and speaking engagements at trade shows;
- Involved in entire project management, quoting, planning, execution and follow-up;
- Providing engineering consulting and risk management advice on wind technologies;
- Conduct design analysis of wind turbines and sub-systems;
- Create and design inspection plans and test protocols;
- Participates and gives presentation to potential clients;
- Generates quotations and track project costs once order is accepted;
- Conducts off- and on-site inspection for site assessment, quality management systems, and wind farm certification.
- Responds to certification issues to clients; manages clients through the project phase;
- Generates revenues by billing engineering / auditing time to TÜV SÜD clients, usually on a project basis, for both consulting, training and certification activities;
Job Requirements
Account Executive, Wind Energy
Requirements include, but are not limited to:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Atmospheric sciences, or other technical fields;
- A minimum of 5 years wind energy experience e.g. Wind Energy Expert;
- Excellent client relations skills and project management skills;
- Proven track record within industry:
- Existing industry network and exposure to manufacturers, project developers, banks, and investors:
- Demonstrated strengths in solving complex technical problems, and in providing technical review;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Ability to integrate diverse technical information into a clear understanding of risks and appropriate mitigation measures;
- An appreciation for renewable energy and quality;
- Willingness to travel
