Scope of Position:

Responsible for developing the long-term strategic plan for Cornings bioprocess business, leading to significant growth (2X) over the next five years.

 

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Supervise 4-5 direct reports including Business Director, PLMs and Business Dev. Mgr.
• Global strategy development and execution
• Managing key collaborative relationships (including contract negotiations)
• Identifying and developing new product platforms
• Management oversight for critical projects leading to business growth objectives
• Sales budgeting/forecasting
• Own and manage business P&L

 

Travel Requirements: 25-35% / international travel is required

 

Hours of work/work schedule/flex-time: 40

Job Requirements

Required Education:

• Bachelors degree
• MBA preferred (or equivalent work experience)

 

Required Years and Area of Experience:

• 15 years of industry experience in Bioprocess or related field.
• 5 years of experience in a leadership role, business development and/or strategic planning.
