We have an immediate need for a Verification EngineerJOB DESCRIPTIONOur direct client is seeking a skilled Verification Engineerfor a contract position.Responsibilities include:Skill1 - System VerilogSkill2 - Verification Planning and Tracking (L3)Understanding of verification and coverage plans - able to extract testscenarios from the plan. Competent enough to come-out with the verificationplan for the unit level verification. Competent enough to come-out with theverification plan for the system level verification - and track theverification progress.Skill3 - English Language (L1)Skill4 - VLSI HDL Verification (L2)Competent in one HDL language - Verilog or VHDL. Can design and implement testcases from the given test plan for HDL test bench. Has good understanding oftest bench components. e.g BFMs, Monitor, Checkers. Able to design andimplement HDL based verification environment for complex designs. Able toexecute the test cases, debug failures. Able to setup code coverage, analyzethe code coverage and add additional scenarios. Able to run Gate level Sims & debug failures. Able to implement random verification environment using HDLFunctional Verification engineer (Pre-Silicon)Qualification: MS-EE / B-Tech EE/ECEExperience Level: 4+ YearsHands on experience in OVM or UVM methodologyb. Hands on experience with SystemVerilogc. Hands on experience with Functional coveraged. Ability to develop testplans will be an advantagee.
