We currently have the following position available in our Corporate Home Office located in Framingham, Massachusetts:

Cash Accounting Analyst

The Cash Accounting Analyst will be responsible for:

• Performs monthly close functions.
• Preparing accurate and timely account reconciliations, for bank, disbursement, concentration and depository accounts. Researches reconciling items on the bank reconciliations with the appropriate departments to ensure timely and accurate resolution of such items.
• Prepares the monthly Cash Flow forecast and supporting analyses for estimating the month end cash balance to be reported on the financial statements. Assists with month end close ensuring that all department journal entries have posted correctly to the general ledger.
• Prepares analyses for ensuring accuracy and identifying trends related to the monthly Cash Flow forecasting (i.e. disbursement clearing, store cash balances).
• Prepares month end accruals to ensure accurate reporting on financial statements.
• Prepares the annual plan for bank service charges. Reviews the plan monthly and prepares and submits the Rolling Plan for usage and trending changes.
• Performs the daily ACH transfer of store cash, for all domestic divisions, from the individual store demand deposit accounts to the home office concentration accounts ensuring Corporate Treasury access to funds in a timely manner.
• Performs and assists with special projects and analyses as required.

Requirements:

-1-2 years of relevant work experience

-Time management skills

-Self motivated, independent, and proactive worker

-Excellent verbal, written and communication skills

-Advanced Excel experience

-Attention to detail and accuracy

-Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to build relationships

-Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline oriented environment and prioritize effectively

-Bachelors degree in Accounting preferred. Candidates with Business Administration or Finance degrees will be reviewed if they have retail accounting experience.

-Oracle experience strongly preferred
