Job Title: Staff AccountantJob ID: 18555Location: Wakefield,MA, USFull/Part Time:Full-TimeRegular/Temporary: RegularLine of Business:EpsilonAbout the OpportunityThe Staff Accountant position is a member of the General Ledger group responsible for maintaining the accuracy of all financial accounts and completing various company wide allocations. This role will perform various month-end close activities such as parepare journal entries, reconcile trial balances in an online database and analyze and explain various cost fluxuations. The ideal candidate will be able to interact with various levels of the organization.Responsibilities include:- Review and prepare month-end journal entries- Assist with various payroll and time sheet maintenance- Analyze and reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts- Prepare various intercompany transactions- Assist with inquiries related to monthly and quarterly variance analysis- Maintain monthly accounting controls- Prepare ad-hoc reports as neededSkills/Experience Required:- 1-2 years of related work experience.- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required- Must have excellent communication skills, analytical and problem solving skills- Able to work with tight deadlines and minimal supervision- Must be detailed-oriented and possess good organizational skills- Strong Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications- Peoplesoft and Essbase skills a plusCompensation and BenefitsAlliance Data offers a competitive salary, a comprehensive selection of benefit options including 401(k).Conditions of EmploymentAll job offers are contingent upon successful completion of drug screen and background checks.About UsEpsilon is the industrys leading marketing services firm, with a broad array of data-driven, multichannel marketing solutions that leverage consumer insight to help brands deepen their relationships with customers.
