Our client, a software company in Bedford, Ma, is looking for a Lead Generation Rep to generate leads for the outside sales executives.

Main role of the Business Generation Rep is to initiate the sales cycle by prospecting and qualifying potential customers in line with the local sales revenue targets. The BGR will proactively make outbound calls to target accounts and also qualify any inbound leads, opportunities, or inquiries from marketing campaigns. The Business Generation Rep will also work closely with the local sales teams in their region, agreeing to the qualification process and converting opportunities for Sales in the "Salesforce" automation system.

Key responsibilities:
Generate qualified opportunities for sales reps
Set up appointments for field sales
Manage and track leads in the lead database through salesforce.com
Responsible for tracking, creating, and reporting results
Meet a quota of new qualified leads to be generated, and number of appointments booked
Work closely with sales to transfer qualified opportunities
Manage and track multiple sales opportunities and tasks
Establish and maintain effective relationships with prospects and sales
Follow up on inbound leads from Marketing activities
Help drive lead generation campaigns by providing reports and feedback on the quality of leads from campaigns

Working hours: 8:30-5:30

Skills and Qualifications:

A successful background in Inside Sales, Business Generation, telemarketing, telesales and/or cold calling experience in a B to B environment is an advantage
Expertise in Business Intelligence, Analytics, Complex Event Processing, BRMS
Strong understanding of the sales/buying cycle with ability to assess sales opportunities and prospective organizations
Proven experience using phone as a main mode of communication and must feel comfortable making outbound phone calls
Highly motivated results/driven, action oriented person with strong self-motivation
Must be able to work on complete multiple projects with strong follow through
Must possess excellent phone and commercial skills
Enjoys working in a team, likes to take initiative and a self-starter
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Experience using Sales Force Automation Tools
Dedicated to meeting needs of both internal and external customers
Bachelors degree preferred
