If you are a Software Project Manager or Software Architect with experience delivering complex software solutions in a scientific domain, please read on!

This is the ideal role for Senior level software professionals that has experience in managing large or small software development projects in detail within the bio/pharma or life sciences domain. If you love being involved in the entire project life cycle from Business Analysis, Software Architecture, Development and Testing and want to work on complex software projects, this is the job for you!

What you need for this position:

- The ideal candidate will have come from a strong scientific background (degree in biology, prior to a career in software development.
- A proven track record of software architecture, programming and testing complex object-oriented systems
- Software engineering project management experience gained working in an environment that services the Life Sciences and Bio/Pharma industries
- Proven Project Management experience as evidenced by a PMP or equivalent degree/certification, is nice to have

What youll be doing:

- You will take on projects from the first meeting with a client through to delivery, and experience the satisfaction of seeing their needs met by the work that you have successfully led.
- Gathering requirements, analyzing the needs and feeding back to the client in a way that moves their understanding forward.
- Architecting a technical solution either yourself, or by working with senior technical staff.
- Managing the project to ensure that we not only deliver within budget and timescales, but that the solution we provide will delight our clients, which in turn will enhance our reputation and increase repeat business.
- Being an active line manager to your staff, who are all educated to Bachelors degree level, many of whom have PhDs
