Team Lead, Quality Assurance / 2433

Position Description:

JOB SUMMARY: To oversee day to day operations for a team of QA Analysts responsible for performing various ongoing weekly audits of work performed by the credentialing operations and intake. To ensure that day to day operations within the team are in line with the company wide goal of delivering the highest quality product to the client.
JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Oversee all audit activity related to credentialing operations and intake performed by dedicated team of QA Analysts.
2.Ensure all process rules are followed by the team, all production goals are met, and all team deliverables are reported within defined timelines
3.Ensure that the team of QA Analysts stays current with all process changes in the business areas that are being audited and that QA process rules are updated accordingly
4.Actively coach and mentor staff. Enable QA Analysts to maintain a high level of subject matter expertise in all team audit processes
5.Ensure that all weekly reporting output is accurate, properly formatted, and correctly reflects the efforts of the QA team
6.Foster and maintain a strong working relationship with business areas, through scheduled status meetings and consistent communication
7.Ensure all department documentation is accurate and up to date
8.Act as point person for all departmental reporting needs and issues.
9.Work independently but also keep the QA Manager current with all applicable issues and concerns.
10.Assess staff strengths and weaknesses, assist individuals in improving in areas where development is needed.
11.Maintain a work environment which encourages the development of analytical thinking.
12.Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and departments.
13.Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements.
14.Demonstrate commitment to the Companys core values.

JOB SCOPE:
The incumbent provides input on recruiting, hiring, training the team, evaluating employee performance, and recommending or initiating personnel actions such as promotions, transfers, and disciplinary actions to management. The incumbent operates under general supervision and has direct responsibility for day to day operating decisions.

Qualifications:

JOB REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, and Training):
Minimum Education Required: Bachelors Degree
Minimum two years experience in Managed Care or Healthcare
Supervisory or Senior Analyst experience preferred
Experience with Quality Improvement Processes preferred
Required licensures, professional certifications, and/or Board certifications as applicable
A degree of subject matter expertise while maintaining flexibility and a willingness to adapt. The ability to instill the same values in your direct reports
Ability to think analytically and encourage others to do the same
A strong sense of autonomy while knowing when to escalate particular issues
High motivated with a sense of urgency
Organizational, leadership, problem solving, analytical, teamwork, and communication skills
Ability to use computer hardware, software, and peripherals related to job responsibilities, including MS Office
