Manager, Product Strategy at Watertown

Job Description

The Manager of Product Strategy leads development of new products and services to help Tufts Health Plan better compete in the markets we serve. Responsibilities include assessment of market trends, customer needs, and competitive strategies vis--vis our existing product capabilities. The Manager will work closely with colleagues in Commercial Sales & Marketing, Network Contracting, IT, and Operations to develop new offerings and enhance existing product solutions. In addition, the Manager often recommends new opportunities directly to senior management, using formal presentations to explain their business rationale and expected return on investment. Potential topics of investigation are wide ranging and may include innovation of the core health insurance product, wellness services, care management, federal and state regulation, member engagement, physician engagement, and ancillary products. Finally, the Manager must drive implementation of Product Strategy projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to create implementation plans, and oversee project execution.

Job Requirements

EDUCATION: (Minimum educations & certifications required)Bachelors degree required. MBA preferred.EXPERIENCE: (Years of experience)5+ years experience in product management, sales and marketing, or project management. Prior health industry experience is essential. Health insurance experience preferred. Prior experience creating and leading presentations strongly preferred.SKILL REQUIREMENTS: (Include interpersonal skills)Significant experience in problem solving across a wide range of business situations
