Job Description

As a Quality Analyst at UnitedHealth Group, you are a critical member of the Optum Digital Intelligence Network (ODIN) team, ensuring our products meet critical quality standards that surpass user expectations. Our team is focused on delivering web and mobile solutions to meet a wide range of health consumer needs, including personal health management, benefit management and health finance management functions. We need world-class software quality analysts to work in an Agile development environment.Responsibilities include:Analyze system requirements and technical specifications to create and execute test cases Ability to write test cases and execute testing within a web service environment Drive defect resolutionAssist business users in defining User Acceptance Testing, test cases and plansEstablish and maintain test cases and test dataCreate and maintain test cases in Quality Center and/or Test DirectoryActively participate in walk-through, inspection, review and user group meetings for quality assurance Work with business users, system analysts, designers and programmers to create and analyze various required project documents Participate in production implementation verification and being accountable for validating system quality Plan, document, evaluate and track testing results to ensure system applications are free from defects Communicate and interact with appropriate areas on problems, changes and enhancements that may impact data, workflow and /or functionality Comply with standards of the software development life cycle and follow strategies, plans and procedures within information Technology software Comply with standards and strategies of the software development life cycleKnowledge of Quality Center and / or ALM for tracking and reporting defects would be helpfulLead others in developing testing best practices Support testing strategy across a wide variety of browsers and devices

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications:Undergraduate degree in applicable area of expertise or 4 years equivalent experienceMinimum 6 years of experience as a quality analyst and leading a team of Quality analysts Minimum 3 years of experience defining test approaches, test plans and test scripts Minimum 1 year of experience defining test data requirements Minimum 2 years of experience in Agile methodology Experience with Quality center/ALMExperience with testing in an Agile methodology Excellent oral and written communication skillsPreferred Qualifications:Experience with OATs, Performance test definition, and Risk-based testing methodsExperience with test automation techniques and toolsUnitedHealth Group is a company thats on the rise.
