Classification: Accounting Supervisor/Mgr/Dir

Compensation: $106,363.99 to $130,000.00 per year

Our client a world wide publicly traded company located south of Boston seeks a hands on manager for its external financial reporting function. The external financial reporting manager will be a key member and the primary person responsible for the SEC filings and associated financial statements and disclosures in compliance with GAAP. This hands on role will also provide technical accounting and analytical support to the finance group, and prepare quarterly earnings release to ensure compliance with GAAP and consistency with SEC Filings. Responsible for the Companys SEC filings including Form 10-Q, Form 10-K, Form S-4 and Form 8-K filings, earnings releases and associated consolidated financial statements, footnotes, managements discussion and analysis and supporting schedules. Ensure compliance with SEC financial reporting rules and regulations. Evaluation of all significant accounting transactions, implementation of relevant accounting technical standards and preparation of technical accounting memos supporting all accounting positions. Responsible for researching and analyzing technical accounting issues and their application to internal and external reporting and US GAAP compliance. Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements. The successful candidate will have a BS in Accounting, a CPA and a minimum of 6 years external reporting.
