Contract Manager, Install Services at Springfield

Job Description

The Contract Manager is responsible for managing contractual relationships with Third Party affiliates, and ensuring a mutually beneficial partnership between Sears and Installation service providers.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities:Represents Sears in all subcontractor contract negotiations ensuring the establishment of relationships that will best serve the Sears customer and which will support Sears Vision, Mission and Values.Market Service Variability. Focuses on larger footprint to reduce market performance variabilityCapacity Management. Work as Liaison with MDO and WP team to insure coverage, especially in peak demandsAudit Installer performance during unit visits to include observations of load-out, ride-behinds, in-home, check-in and invoice validation. Supports MDO on Contractor Performance.Market Readiness. Supports Winter Park recruitment and selection of subcontractors and ensuring all vendor certification and compliance requirements are met.Requirements:3-5 years experience in Installation Services (which may include home improvement/building, appliance repair/installation, kitchen/bathroom installation) / exposure to working in a service industry in an union/non-union environment / repair industry knowledge.Understanding and knowledge of industry/logistics practices, including labor, regulatory and economic factors impacting Installation contractors.Skilled in negotiation and conflict resolution.Excellent verbal/written communication skills, with ability to converse and gain collaboration from management at all levels with internal business partners, 3rd party businesses.Computer skills with Microsoft suite products (Excel, Word, Power Point).
