Job Description:
Sr. Project anager is responsible for managing required standards of quality (time, budget, and functionality) for projects, and supporting
the overall business success of the MT business unit.

Responsibilities:
-Profit & Loss responsibility for projects according to Project Target Agreements.
-Development and implementation of project controlling and corrective action measures
Execution of MTProjects according to the internal Project Management Standards
(PM@Siemens, PM@MT)
-Compliance with the PM@Siemensrelevant planning elements and milestones
-Proactive and systematic risk management, ongoing monitoring of project status, and early
identification and correction of discrepancies
-Support of business development and strategic initiatives
-Ensuring effective feedback and lessons learned with clients and internal stakeholders

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

Strong, demonstrated leadership skills in a crossfunctional and cross department environment.
Siemensspecific knowledge and relationships
Experience in team leadership
Sector/Customer relevant knowledge
Intercultural experience
PM methods and tools and experience in Project Management field

Contract law
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to interact effectively with peers across departments, business units, and sites.
Ability to lead a team in a fastpaced, deadlineoriented environment.
Strong analytic, planning, and decisionmaking skills.
Strong quality orientation and customer focus.
Strong engineering skills including excellent understanding of MT products and solutions.
Ability to convey ideas and concepts to a wide range of audiences including sales/marketing,
engineers, senior management and customers is essential.
Education or equivalent experience required: BS in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or
related field required.
Familiarity with Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK). PM@Siemens certification or
equivalent is a plus.
Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience
Domestic and international travel required.
Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
MBA or technical Masters degree a plus
Working knowledge with SAP
